Cora Environment is a purpose-driven sustainable waste management company that rethinks waste. Envisioning a zero-waste future, our holistic approach empowers businesses to reduce their environmental footprint, through end-to-end solutions from waste profiling and infrastructure to resource recovery and energy-from-waste. We create value by driving industry partnerships to transform the waste landscape and shape the future for generations to come. Inspired by the words ‘collaboration’ and ‘heart’, the name “Cora” reflects our commitment to putting people, purpose and planet at the heart of everything we do.
With over 45 years of experience, Cora Environment is a leading waste management company serving the City-Punggol and Clementi-Bukit Merah sectors. We manage public, industrial, and commercial waste, and operate a material recovery facility, medical and bio-hazardous waste treatment plant, and an energy-from-waste plant.

We are committed to supporting businesses across the entire waste value chain, with a 360° approach to sustainable waste management.
Besides waste collection, recyclables go to our Material Recovery Facility for advanced sorting. Non-recyclables go to our Energy-from-Waste plant, which converts waste into energy, in the form of steam. High-pressure steam generated is then supplied to industrial businesses in Jurong Island via a steam network, lowering carbon emissions by 50% as compared to traditional fuel coal-fired steam plants.
