Mixed Waste Off-site Normative Assessment (MONA®) – Waste Profiling
Unlike conventional waste audits, MONA® offers detailed waste profiling processes that follow the American Society for Testing and Materials’ (ASTM) D5231-92 (2016) methodology. Waste is manually sorted into more than 20 distinct categories, helping businesses identify the top waste streams. The process tracks entire waste journeys from source (up to individual bin levels) in a non-intrusive approach that minimises unidentified waste.
Upon completion of the waste audit, MONA® provides actionable insights focused on waste abatement, that can be customised to support sustainability reporting standards to align with Singapore Exchange (SGX) listing regulations and Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB).
Landfill Incineration Strategic Avoidance (LISA®) – Waste Journey Mapping & Validation
Traceability is critical for waste circularity, and LISA® tracks the waste journey, both upstream (from the source) and downstream (disposal or recycling). By using MONA® audit insights, businesses can receive tailored recommendations for transitioning from commingled recycling to clean-stream segregation at the source. This reduces contamination, which leads to higher recovery rates.
