FAQ

What is the REhub?

REhub is a smart recycling device deployed in schools to support clean stream recycling. It allows users to deposit recyclables and track recycling data digitally.

How does the REhub support the School Recycling League?

REhub complements the School Recycling League by enabling accurate tracking, clean segregation, and data collection of recyclables, helping schools improve their recycling performance.

Who can use the REhub?

REhub is designed for use by students, teachers, school staff and public. It is safe and user-friendly, with features that support educational engagement.

What types of recyclables does the device accept?

The REhub is configured to accept two waste streams, which can vary depending on the school’s setup. The default configuration is Paper and Plastics. In some cases, schools may opt for other streams such as Tetra Pak or Metal Cans.

What happens to the recyclable after I have thrown it into the bin

Cora Environment partners with closed-loop recycling providers to ensure that collected recyclables are processed sustainably. This means the materials are diverted from incineration and landfill, and instead re-enter the circular economy — extending their lifecycle and reducing environmental impact.

How often are recyclables collected or emptied?

The REHub is equipped with smart sensors that automatically detect when the bin is full and alert Cora’s Operations Team for timely collection.
